About Layerdock
Layerdock is a website feedback tool. A client opens a link to the live site, clicks the thing that is wrong and leaves a comment. The developer gets the exact element, a screenshot and the console and network context from that moment. Nothing to install and no account for the reviewer.
Why it exists
Every team ships websites, but feedback on them still lives in screenshots, Slack threads and “the button on the left, no, the other one.” Most tools bolt feedback on with an extension or a script. Layerdock was built so the review happens where the work lives: in the browser, with pins, recordings, drawings, element inspection and the technical detail a developer needs to fix it the first time.
Who builds it
Layerdock is built by Zain Khan, CEO and co-founder. It is an early product and we say so: the integration list and the body of third-party reviews are both smaller than long-established tools, and our comparison pages state where a competitor is the better buy.
How we write about other tools
- Competitor prices are read off each vendor’s own pricing page and dated on the page.
- We list ourselves in our own roundups with the same caveats as everyone else.
- If a number is not published by the vendor, the page says so instead of guessing. See the full roundup and pricing compared.
